Son - don't be!  It's actually pretty simple - the Psalms are filled with passages like this with the speaker trying to understand their current situation.  In this one the speaker's having a not-so-good time to say the least.

I quoted it here more because it's awesome as prophecy, as Christians take it to be the prophecy of Christ.  And Christ actually started to say this Psalm on the cross "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?", almost pointing us in the direction that this is prophecy.  Anyhow, that's just what I think!</description>
