Hello! My name is David Calhoun. I’ve been working on web development in some form or other since around 1997, when I discovered I could create personal webpages with my AOL account.
I graduated from Biola University in 2006 with a BA in Philosophy (yes, quite a different subject, I know!) and I’m currently working on my Master’s in Computer Science at California State University Fullerton.
This last summer (2008) I had the great experience of working full time as a Frontend Developer Intern at Yahoo! in Santa Monica, California. I was also fortunate to be able to attend a few sessions of the great Juku program in Sunnyvale, as well as the Yahoo! Front End Developer Summit 2008.
Besides this blog, I am also the webmaster and writer for wwiaircombat.com, which runs entirely on custom-built code (just for fun).
